When I woke up this past weekend and the temperatures were predicted to be cooler than the 80s, I was SO excited! I’m trying hard to convince myself it’s fall, but the heat hasn’t quite left us alone down here in Alabama. While my cosy sweaters and warm boots are still patiently waiting in my closet, I’m trying to find ways to mix a few autumn-y bits into my outfit without absolutely roasting. One of the ways I’ve been doing that is relying heavily on layers, like this amazing faux suede moto jacket from the Who What Wear collection at Target.
First of all, let’s talk about the color. I absolutely adore this muted olive green for fall! I think it pairs well with so many different things- I’ve worn this with black, white, and even a rusty orange. It’s accented with silver zippers- one in the front and one on each side pocket- but zipper isn’t really a focus point for the jacket, so you don’t have to worry about wearing this jacket with gold jewelry. The fabric itself is super soft, but because it’s not real suede, it’s machine-washable! That part is so great.
This is the perfect jacket to throw on over a summer top for those days where it’s not quite cool, but not quite warm. I’m stretching the use of this white tank from Zara (which I featured in this video) a liiiitle longer than I think it’s seasonal for by layering it under this jacket. I personally hate the feeling of short sleeves under a jacket or cardigan, not to mention how weird the bumps under the sleeves look, so a tank top works perfectly for me.

Finally, we have to talk about the price. This jacket was $49.99! That’s so affordable, even for faux suede. And, in my opinion, this jacket looks way more expensive than it really is. Amirite? I have been really impressed with the Who What Wear collection at Target and you bettuh believe I’ll be back to pick up some more pieces.
What are some of your fall fashion staples?
P.S. Here’s a bonus photo of the moment I found $5 in my pocket that I forgot about:
