Hi everyone and welcome to the second day of Christmas on my blog/Youtube channel! Christmas is definitely my favorite time of year, even though my schedule is JAM PACKED for like three weeks. The things that are jamming up my schedule are all things I enjoy, such as trimming the tree, wrapping presents, and going to Christmas parties with friends. On that note, I wanted to share a simple makeup look for any holiday parties you have coming up!
A few weeks ago, I treated myself to the Champagne Glow palette from Becca Cosmetics and Jaclyn Hill. This limited edition palette has three Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed shades- Pearl, Champagne Pop, and Blushed Copper. I bought it at Sephora, but it doesn’t seem to be on the website anymore 🙁 I’m telling you, Queen Jaclyn’s stuff sells out fast! You can still (and should) get the individual shades here, though. These powders are super buttery, super pigmented, and give you the most gorgeous “lit from within” glow.
For my base, I used the Maybelline Matte + Poreless foundation, the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, Benefit’s Hoola bronzer, and Milani’s blush in Red Vino. These are some of my all-time favorite products, and as you can tell from both hitting pan on the bronzer and the state of my concealer, they are well-loved.
For eyes, I patted some Blushed Copper on my mobile lid and blended an eyeshadow from the Morphe Warm palette (the second color from the left on the second row from the bottom) into my crease. I added the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Black Velvet into my upper water line, the Loreal Silkissime eyeliner in Green Ivy in my lower water line, and the Absolute New York Nano Liner along my upper lashline. I finished off with the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.
For lips, I lined with the NYX Slim Lip Pencil in Currant, filled in with MAC Diva lipstick, and topped it off with my Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in Parisian Passion.
And now for the cherry on top. I highlighted under my eyebrow with Pearl, swept Champagne Pop across my cheekbones, down my nose, and on my cupid’s bow, and brushed Blushed Copper over the apples of my cheeks.
The photos definitely don’t do the glow justice, but I still feel ready for all the Christmas parties coming up! Don’t forget to tune into my YouTube channel tomorrow for another 12 Days of Christmas video!
xoxo Katie
