An (Affordable!) Subtly Christmassy Sweater

Christmas sweaters can be tricky for multiple reasons. First, where I live, it doesn’t really get truly cold until December, and even then it can sometimes it can vary. For example, last year there was a week where the high was 36 on Sunday and then 72 on Wednesday. -__- Our real consistently cold months are January and February, and obviously you can’t wear Christmas sweaters after Christmas. It’s also tricky to find a Christmas sweater that’s not too garish. I saw on in Belk the other day that actually had Santa’s stomach as a padded, 3-D circle. No one wants another stomach on top of their own stomach! Finally, Christmas sweaters can be EXPENSIVE!!! Why the hell!?! However!! After searching for a bit, I found an affordable, cute sweater that is Christmas-appropriate but could we worn after Christmas, too!

H&M hat (similar) // H&M sweater // Forever21 jeans // Tory Burch Boots (brown sold out) // Versona bracelet (similar) // J.Crew coat (old. This one is similar!)

This sweater is from H&M, comes in three colors, and is less than $20.00. It also comes in a gorgeous red color that is even more festive, but I honestly don’t wear much red so I went with this soft pink color. Even though I don’t think of pink as a very Christmassy color, the ombre sparkle just screams holidays to me. I paired it with dark jeans, knee-high boots, a navy coat, and white bobble hat since it was so cold out. It seemed like the perfect thing to wear to one of my favorite Huntsville Christmas staples- the Tinsel Trail! Every year, hundreds of live Christmas trees are decorated and displayed in Big Spring Park. Each tree is sponsored by a different local business, group, or family, and they are all so unique!

Have you found a good Christmas sweater yet?
