A few months ago, a saw a review on a blog I follow (Hi Sophie Kate!) for the L’Oreal Pure Clay Masks and knew I had to try them since I’m a big fan of clay masks. However, they hadn’t been released in the US yet! I was so disappointed. I kept my eyes peeled for the next few months, and as soon as I saw them advertised on this side of the pond, I rushed to the store to pick them up. I wasn’t surprised to see that they had flown off the shelves!

Part of the reason I was so excited for these was that I hadn’t really found a luxurious-feeling face mask at a drugstore price. While everyone loves a good Origins ($22.00) or GlamGlow ($69.00) mask, these can get super expensive. I’ve been on the hunt for a moderately-priced mask for ages, and these three check all my boxes! The three new L’Oreal Pure Clay masks all have a blend of three mineral clays, but each has a little something extra. I applied each mask with my fingers, left them on for about 10 minutes, and rinsed them off with warm water and a muslin cloth. Since all three have different benefits, this is the perfect trio for multi-masking!

Let’s start with the Detox and Brighten mask. This one is made with charcoal, which draws out the dirt and grime from your face to really clean your pores. Once that dirt is gone, your face looks brighter and fresher!

Next up is the Exfoliate and Refining mask. This one has red algae, apricot seeds, and volcanic rock added. The grit from the bits gently exfoliate your skin as you wash the mask off, which I love. I am a huge fan of the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, so I’m not surprised that I liked this mask a lot since it has apricot seeds in it!

Finally, there’s the Purify and Mattify mask. This one has eucalyptus in it to help refine pores and reduce oil. This was the one I was most excited about since I have oily skin, and it did not disappoint!

One thing I loved about these products was the packaging, which seems a lot more luxurious than you would expect from this price point. Each mask comes in a thick glass pot with a green plastic lid. I was worried at first that the masks would dry out, but so far they’re still pristine! All three of the masks are thick and creamy, all three smell so good and all three make your skin feel amazing. Don’t walk, RUN to the store to pick these up! At the time of publication, they are priced at $12.99 each, but I’ve seen them advertised lower than that some places and “buy one get one half off” at others. No matter where you pick them up, they are so well-priced that you could get more than one!
