The Dough Jar cookie dough scoop shop is open today in Georgetown, and I highly encourage you to go and have your doughy dreams come true! Although you could get Dough Jar cookie dough from a few local grocery stores, markets, and cafes around the DMV, this is the flagship brick-and-mortar store. You can get single scoops, double scoops, flights, waffle cones, coffee, dough-to-go and more at the new storefront on Wisconsin Ave.
The flavors they have are:
-Chocolate chip
-Vegan chocolate chip
-Sugar cookie funfetti
-Peanut butter chocolate chip
-Fudge brownie
-Monster cookie
-Snickerdoodle
-Oatmeal Raisin
and you can get them in either cups or cones. They have a few different cone options, all of which are totally insta-worthy, as well as ice cream for milkshakes, ice cream sandwiches, and sundaes.
I got a sneak peek a few days ago and I can’t WAIT to see this place take off! It’s a local, small batch brand with a kickass female founder/CEO in Lindsay Goldin. And, also very important, the dough is delicious! I got to try a few options and in the end went with a birthday cake cone with the Monster cookie dough- gluten free oats, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and M&Ms. My sister got the Sugar cookie funfetti in a pink french vanilla cone, topped with oreos. Holy wow.
