Now that the chaos of the holidays is over, I think the world is taking a collective deep breath and trying to relax. One of my go-to ways to relax is to soak in a nice, warm bath. After exfoliating with the Tree Hut Almond Honey Shea Sugar Scrub, applying a hair masque like the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, and slapping on a face masque like the GlamGlow Thirstymud, I love to lie back and daydream.
I am currently renting an apartment, so I have little control over the way my space looks. However, one of my favorite things to daydream about in the tub is my dream bathroom. One website I love to peruse is PlumbTile.com– they have over 750,000 products ranging from bathtubs to tiles to lighting so you’re sure to find what you’re looking for.
When I was a kid, I played The Sims a lot, and I always included a claw foot tub in my bathroom design. Claw foot tubs are so chic- I think of them of the kinds of tubs queens take baths in.

As a woman who likes to try out different bath and beauty products, bathroom storage is very important to me. Instead of a naked sink, I prefer to have some sort of vanity, like these:

I like the idea of white/marble countertops, sinks, and tubs contrasted with grey and silver accents. I think the white suggests cleanliness while the grey and silver will give an element of chicness to the design.

Lighting is SO important in your bathroom, especially if it’s where you put on your makeup. I love the idea of hanging a chandelier in the middle of the room or over the bathtub. I think it lends itself to the “this is where queens bathe” feeling, don’t you? Also, how well does this floor lamp (number 2) go with the claw foot tub?

Hopefully one day I’ll be able to make my dream bathroom a reality and take my royal baths, but for now I’ll have to content myself with daydreaming of claw foot tubs, marble sinks, and bathroom chandeliers! What do you think of my choices? What are some of your dream bathroom pieces?
