Poor Valentine’s Day gets a bad wrap. You can’t bring it up in a conversation without at least one person rolling their eyes and saying “You know it’ nothing but a commercial holiday, right?” I’m one of the people that actually loves Valentine’s Day. I don’t really care if it’s a commercial holiday or not. I feel like you should celebrate love every day, but there’s nothing wrong with celebrating it extra hard on one day per year. Plus, I love those little candy hearts, roses are beautiful, and I could devour a box of chocolates in a day no problem (I just wish they made one entirely of the coconut truffles). So while the Valentine’s Day-haters are grumping around on the 14th, I’ll be throwing out love like candy in a parade and stuffing my mouth with delicious, delicious food.
In the spirit of love, I thought I would share some free printable Valentine’s Day cards for you today. I made five of these foldable cards based on some of the things I love the most! Hopefully we’ll have at least one thing in common, and if not, there’s a fairly generic option included.
For beauty lovers:
I talk about beauty a lot here on Katie Actually, so it’s only fitting that I make a beauty-inspired card. This one would be great for giving a fellow makeup-obsessed girlfriend!
For the baker:
Baking is another one of my favorite hobbies, and this “Can’t stop oven you” card is perfect for the baker in your life, or the one who eats all your baked goods! I mean, tests the to make sure they’re ok… ?
For the cheese lover:
There’s no question among those who know me of my love for cheese. Even though camembert isn’t my favorite, it’s the thought that counts. Gah I want cheese now…
For the archaeologist:
If you are new to my blog, you might not know that I’m an archaeologist by day. I can’t wait to hand some of these out around the office! #officehumor
For anyone:
If your Valentine isn’t into beauty, baking, cheese, or archaeology, this card would definitely work for them. Maybe you could write on the inside that they should give beauty, baking, cheese, and/or archaeology another try though…
