I normally don’t go into a season with a set wardrobe theme in mind- usually it just happens. For example, a lot of my spring/summer wardrobe was navy and blush. A few weeks ago I looked down at my outfit and realized my accidental fall theme: stars/outer space. Thinking about it, it makes sense! My hometown is known as Rocket City because of our close ties to NASA, so maybe I’m subconsciously reminding myself of home now that I’ve moved away! I said to a coworker that all my space stuff reminded me of home and he was like, “… you’re from outer space?” hahah.
It all started with this bracelet from Sugarfix x Baublebar at Target. It came in a trio, but this one is my favorite. My dog’s name is Luna, which is Spanish for moon, so it reminds me of her when I’m wearing it! I’m drawn to delicate jewelry, and I wear more gold than silver, so this fits the bill perfectly. It was in stores a long time ago, so here are some alternatives: 1 // 2
Next, I snagged this constellation ear crawler set from Baublebar. I went to the site for a sale, which these were not included in, but I loved them so much I had to get them! I get so many compliments when I wear them, and they’re quickly becoming my favorite earrings. The set comes with the Big Dipper and a tiny star, but I actually don’t wear them together that frequently. I have my ears pierced three times, but I’ve found that when I wear the Big Dipper in the first piercing and the star in the third, it’s too crowded. Usually I’ll wear the Big Dipper alone or the tiny star with gold hoops.
Finally, I was looking for new work clothes at H&M and stumbled across this creped top with stars. It was love at first sight, y’all. AND this shirt is only 10 bucks! It’s so comfortable, and it goes with everything. I have to try to space out my space fashion throughout the week so I don’t oversaturate, but it’s hard! I’m so here for the space theme. And I’ve got my eye on a few pieces from Zara too…
