Last year, the Teddy Bear coat was all over Instagram. Even though I loved them, I thought they were just a fad, so I held off on buying my own. WELL, NOT THIS YEAR! I saw one on Shein.com and thought to myself this is my time. I’m so glad that I took the leap!
Well, I think “took the leap” is a bit dramatic. This coat was only $31.00, so it’s not like I was dropping J. Crew prices on my outerwear. I hadn’t ever bought anything from Shein though, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. My Shein haul was kind of hit or miss, and this coat has proven itself to be one of the hits.
The color is a lovely, caramel camel color. It has two front pockets, a satiny lining, and a zip closure. To be honest, though, it looks really funny zipped closed, so I hardly ever zip it. When I’m cold enough to zip it, I’m definitely too cold to care what I look like. Until recently, I’ve been kind of weird about wearing browns with blacks. I’m happy to say I’ve gotten over that, especially when it comes to camel.
I’ve washed this coat once and it’s held up well, so I’m very pleased! A woman even stopped me on the street today to ask where I got my teddy coat.
I’ve put on a little winter weight, I’m really into napping, I’ve pretty much stopped shaving my legs, and I love back scratches. Basically, this teddy bear coat is my last step of fully turning into a bear this winter, and I’m totally behind that.
What do you think of the teddy bear coat trend?
