It’s definitely summer here in Alabama. Temperatures are high, humidity is high, and A/C bills are high. There have been several days recently where I’ve woken up and dreaded the idea of wearing pants all day, so I’ve been reaching for summery dresses as often as possible. This one from Old Navy has been one of my favorites.
Although I annoyingly can’t find the exact dress online anymore (I just bought it!), here it is in a different pattern, and there are several great striped options like this one and this one.
There are three great things about this dress: the linen, the stripes, and the pockets! I mean, who doesn’t love a dress with pockets.
This is a pretty casual dress, so I paired it with my white converse. What a staple.
My wonderful photographer for this shoot, Janna Park, showed up with some gorgeous jewelry from a local artist named Mary Kathryn Martinson. How beautiful is this necklace?
My go-to bag for when I’m out and about has been the Rebecca Minkoff Marlowe crossbody. I bought this one on Hautelook.com (for a great deal), but here are some similar options: 1, 2, 3.
What is your go-to summer outfit for when it’s super hot?
