My Updated Night Skincare Routine

I can’t believe it’s been 10 months since I last posted about my night skincare routine! Although some elements are the same, I’ve made a lot of changes. I feel like I’m in a good groove with the products I use, so I wanted to give you an update on all the new additions.

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water- $8.99

Garnier micellar water

The first thing I do before bed is I take my eye makeup off. I have been using the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water for about a year now, non-stop, and I love it! It takes my mascara and eye makeup off really easily and isn’t greasy like some other eye makeup removers I’ve tried. It’s super gentle, and it doesn’t sting when it gets in my eyes either. That’s definitely a plus when you’re trying to remove your tight liner!

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser- $15.00

Fresh face cleanser and Foreo luna

The Fresh Soy Face Cleanser was part of my Sephora birthday gift, and I’ve been using it recently with my new Foreo Luna Mini (review coming soon). I’m a fan of exfoliating face washes, but I thought something like that might be too harsh with my Foreo. The Soy Face Cleanser is a gentle cleanser and makeup remover that doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight or leave any residue behind. Plus, it smells like cucumber, and what’s fresher than that?

Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil- $105.00

Sunday Riley Luna oil

I had heard so many amazing things about the Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil that I was ecstatic when I unwrapped it on Christmas day! This is a retinoid oil that reduces redness and smoothes and firms your face overnight. It’s a bright blue color, but don’t worry! The blue disappears as you massage it in. I apply a few drops to my hands and then press it into my skin. Watch this space, because I’m planning a more in-depth review once I’ve been using it a bit longer!

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel- $19.99

Neutrogena water gel and Kiehl's eye cream

I have banged on and on about the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel, so I’ll keep this short. I love this. I’m on my fourth tub of it. I literally look forward to putting this on at night after my Luna oil has sunk in. Go try it!

Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado- $29.00

My Updated Night Skincare Routine | Katie Actually

The Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is the real deal. It’s super creamy and packs a moisturizing punch. I’ve heard it’s great for those of you with dry skin around your eyes, although I can’t speak to that personally. The texture of this product is so crazy- it starts out as a super thick cream, and then magically transforms to a liquid as you tap it around your eyes. Insane. Even though it’s fairly expensive, a little bit goes a looong way, and this product will last you forever.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream- $22.00

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream for Sunburns | Katie Actually

I have waxed poetic about the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, so again, I won’t go on and on. This is my absolute favorite night time lip product. I’ll apply some right before bed and wake up with the most moisturized lips of all time.

Hey Honey Walk the Walk Propolis Foot Cream- $23.00

Hey Honey foot cream

I received a sample of the Hey Honey Walk the Walk foot cream in my December Birchbox and have been a huge fan. I actually love bees, so I’m a little biased toward anything bee-related, but I have really enjoyed this product so far. This product moisturizes, soothes inflammation, and eliminates bacteria all at the same time. Plus, it smells amazing.

Once I’ve applied all my “lertions and pertions” as I call them, I’m ready for bed! While I wouldn’t go as far as to say I look like a princess when I wake up, I think these products help me look less like a troll.

What products are you using at night?

I know, they are SO expensive. I think it’s a great idea to get a sample of the product before you drop so much $$ on it!

I 100% feel you! It was a great thing to put on a Christmas wish list though, but even then it is still out of many price ranges!
